This massage is choreographed to includes a customizable segment where your specific injury or needs will be addressed. The gO Massage is a type of manual therapy that focuses on the treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal dysfunction and pain. In addition to treating a wide variety of injuries, The gO Massage is used to decrease and manage pain, increase range of motion, and restore normal body movement and function. It can also help expedite recovery from surgery or activity and alleviate post exercise soreness. Our signature massage is a unique therapy that combines deep tissue sports massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, neural mobilization, and joint mobilizations.
The division of massage therapy at gO is headed by Megan Haver, LMT. Meghan has been a certified massage therapist since November of 2003, graduating from Mountain Heart Massage School located in Crested Butte. Meghan specializes in swedish, sports, neuromuscular, deep tissue, hot stone, and prenatal massage. Recently she took a course in cupping and is excited to add this type of massage to her quiver. In addition, Meghan studied ortho-bionomy and has been practicing and incorporating it into her bodywork since 2007. She loves her work and feels it is extremely rewarding as she is constantly learning from each and every client. Meghan comes highly recommended by all gO providers for pre and post-operative and performance massages. When she’s not in her gO studio, you’ll find her teaching aerial dance at the Crested Butte School of Dance.
Meghan has been fortunate enough to call Crested Butte her home since 2002. Her husband Kyle is a busy carpenter and they have two boys who enjoy snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking and climbing.
