Alex Wray, PA-C

Alex is a certified Physician Assistant with multiple years of experience at a dedicated urgent care setting with family practice and orthopedic experience. Alex especially enjoys orthopedics and assisting surgical cases with Dr. Griggs. He has experience with several ortho procedures and is looking forward to practicing under the gO umbrella.

Alex specializes in treating musculoskeletal injuries with splinting or casting as necessary, laceration repair, respiratory tract infections and pediatric infections. He comes from a background of treating a patient population that was lingually, racially, ethnically, and socioeconomically diverse, and developed inclusive communication and patient management skills.

His previous employment at the Mille Lacs Band of the Ojibwe was an exciting opportunity to provide quality care to a population that has been traditionally underserved. There he gained invaluable experience treating; chronic and acute musculoskeletal injuries, diabetes and diabetic complications, cutaneous and respiratory infections, mental health comorbidities, chronic heart conditions, polypharmacy and substance abuse.

Given gO’s approach to healing holistically and treating our patients the same regardless of their history, we are glad to have Alex on our team. He is a great asset to our team and the Gunnison valley community.
