Amy Girand is a board certified physician assistant licensed in the state of Colorado and Texas. She has been in practice for over 19 years, assisting in surgery and clinical evaluations, in several areas of Orthopedics.
Amy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Stephen F. Austin State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Minor in Rehabilitation.  She attended The University of Texas Medical School in Galveston, Texas where she received her post-graduate degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Prior to joining gO Orthopedics, Amy has spent over 15 years working with some of the top orthopedic surgeons in Dallas. Amy has also routinely participated with a medical missionary team that travels to Peru where they perform complex orthopedic surgeries.
Outside of medicine, Amy enjoys cross-country skiing, fat bike riding, camping, and spending time with her two daughters, two dogs, and husband.
